Wanna win the battle of the slouch?

Did you know that most people sit for more than 8 hours everyday?

And let’s be real: most of that sitting is actually slouching. So if you spend most of your day working on your computer or phone keep reading!

Lemme know if any of this sounds familiar:
-nagging aches and pains in your body that distract you all day long
-your booty is literally asleep because you sit on it so much
-constantly chasing more energy all day long and then exhausted at end of the day
-you know you could get more done if you didn’t feel so spacey and foggy
-stress, frustration, and overwhelm show up way too often and leaving you feeling stuck and unmotivated

Here’s the thing: I know that you have a lot on your TO DO list and because of that making time to take care of yourself somehow seems to slide to the bottom of the list. Am I right?

I get it!! But what if you had a way to:

-wake up your sleeping booty so you walk tall with confidence
-relax the nagging pains in the neck and back
-tap...

Yikes: here's how years of slouching may impact the human body

I'd like to introduce you to someone! Have you met Emma? She is the colleague of the future or what someone is predicted to look like after 20 years of office work.......

It might look like a joke but it isn't. This model was created based on the input of 3000 office workers in the UK, Germany, and France and what they are dealing with currently. They mentioned things that probably sound familiar, such as:

back pain, neck tension, headaches, eye strain, weight gain, stress, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, skin issues, insomnia, depression and anxiety.

Based on all the info that was shared the researchers created Emma: the colleague of the future.

Doesn't look good does it? Doesn't feel good either since she is predicted to have: a permanently rounded back, carry extra weight, have varicose veins, eye problems, headaches, high cholesterol, insulin sensitivity, and a...

4 reasons to de-slouch yourself and sit up tall right now

Ever wonder why you feel so tired after sitting all day? One HUGE factor is the way that you breathe when you're sitting (and very often slouching)

Can you breathe normally when you are slouched over? Try it and see.... Not so much right?!

CRAZY FACT: Your ability to breathe deeply (aka: your vital lung capacity) drops by 30% when you are slouched over in a weak posture.

Here's the thing: whether you realize it or not you likely spend a significant portion of your day in that position. Your body has adapted to breathing in that position out of necessity, but that doesn't mean its very efficient at it.

Because your abdomen is compressed your diaphragm can't do it's main task of breathing so other back up muscles in your neck and shoulder have to kick in and pick up the slack.

When it isn't moving freely up and down with every breath your diaphragm isn't able to do one of its key other tasks: massaging your heart and abdominal organs. Bet you didn't know it...

Think working out will prevent sitting disease? Think again!

You work out, you get enough sleep, and drink half your body weight in water everyday and if you are like most people you will think this is enough to stay healthy....but here's the crazy thing: it isn't. Many people mistakenly believe that just because they exercise regularly that sitting all day won't effect them. But unfortunately this just isn't true.
